(Bye request must be received before 1:00 pm the day of the game. Players
failing to so notify the Director and failing to show up for their scheduled
game will be ejected from the tournament. On request, the player may be
readmitted at the Director's discretion.)

BEFORE THE START OF THE 5TH ROUND
USCF 5th EDITION RULES WILL BE IN EFFECT, EXCEPT THAT A PLAYER WILL NOT BE PENALIZED FOR VIOLATING THE CHANGE TO RULE 15a (DM06-10 passed at the 2006 USCF Delegate's Meeting) REQUIRING PLAYERS TO MAKE THEIR MOVE BEFORE RECORDING THE MOVE (unless a MonRoi or other electronic scorekeeping device is being used)
